Professor Weng Jiayu is one of the founders of Dalian Software University. For over ten years, Prof. Weng has been leading the college with advanced educational concepts, and he is good at putting innovating spirit into practice as well. All of these have had a positive influence on all the faculties and students. Prof. Weng inspired all the school members by putting forward the philosophy of “Practicality, Standardization, Innovation,” the spirit of “Striving for First-rate with Peaceful Mind,” training mode of “All-Round Development,” school objective of “Good Language Proficiency, Strong Professional Competence, High Comprehensive Quality” and school motto of “Cautious, Courteous, Knowledgeable, Capable”. Based on the strategic objectives of higher education and the demand of global software and service outsourcing professionals, the college strongly advocates “The Eight Standardized Projects”, namely “standardized educational concept, standardized training mode, standardized daily routine, standardized professional courses, standardized language teaching, standardized cultural construction, standardized student management, and standardized ideological education.” All these will provide our college staff with a wider platform and a brighter future.
