The department currently offers the specialties of Software Technology and Computer Information Management. It has primarily engaged in training high skilled professionals with the abilities in the areas of software demand analysis, coding and services as well as the fields of information system application, maintenance and development.
The department vigorously engages in developing the characteristic major which is JAVA centered. By concentrating effectively on organizing student workshops such as “Original Software,” “Coffee Tour,” “Xin Net,” “Fiyta,” “Light of Speed,” “Voyage,” “Xiang Yu,” “Eye-dotting”, students are provided with the opportunity of working directly with other companies.
The department now provides students with the majors of Computer Network Technology and E-Commerce. It mainly works on the training of professionals with the abilities of local area network construction, management, maintenance, WEB technology, business website development and marketing.
The department faculty has worked hard to build the network equipment-centered computer technology major. “Million Business,” “Taking Off,” “Yong Tong,” “Tuo Pu,” “Deep Blue,” “Rising Sun,” “Hidden Dragon,” “E States” and other student workshops enjoy the reputation of exquisite work and continuous innovation.
Media Arts Department is one of the characteristic departments in our college. The department has provided students with the majors of Computer Multimedia, Art & Design as well as Animation Design and Production. All majors engage in the training of professionals in the areas of print advertisement design, interior design, environmental landscape design, exhibition design, computer animation, website development, film and television postproduction.
The department concentrates on the building of the major of Animation which is targeting at the animation products. While two-dimensional animation-centered Computer Multi-media Technique major is another emphasis. Those two majors together are named as “Two Branded Specialties”. “Art Design,” “Touching Stone,” “Print Media,” “Boya,” “Dynamic Image” and other student workshops have been rewarded in a variety of competitions held by Dalian city or Liaoning province.
The department offers a variety of specialties including: Tourism and Hotel Management, Logistics Management and Marketing. It emphasizes on the training related to the management of tourism, hotel, logistics and marketing.
The department has organized student workshops such as “Zero Distance,” “Classic Flavor,” “Dazzling Excellence,” “Imagination,” “Beyond Myself,” “Xuan Magic Flying,” “Horizon,” and “Super-cool Media”. It has also established close and successful cooperation with high class hotels, travel agencies, logistics companies and other businesses associations.
School of International Exchange，the leading base of applied undergraduate study, professional skills training and Sino-foreign cooperation, offers a variety of specialties including: Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Information Management, E-commerce, Logistic Management, Purchasing and Supplying Management and International Trade. In order to set a solid base for overseas study and employment, the department tutors students for all types of professional training to obtain vocational certificates such as software engineer, internet engineer, E-commerce engineer, logistic engineer, and human resources specialists.
